William D. "Billy" Capece, 26, of Rome passed away on Friday, September 15, 2006 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born on October 5, 1979 in Little Falls, a son of Alan and Denise DeLucco Capece. Billy was a graduate of Herkimer High School and also graduated from Mohawk Valley Community College receiving his Associates Degree in Applied Sciences in both Restaurant and Business Management and Culinary Arts. He was employed at the Oneida Price Chopper in the food service court. Billy truly loved to cook and was a certified Master Chef and his signature dish was Crme of Tomato Basil Soup. He had a great sense of humor and could make anyone laugh. Billy did not have a mean bone in his body and was always trying to brighten someone's day. He will always be remembered for his wonderful smile and will be missed by the many people he has touched. Billy was a devoted son and brother and will be sorely missed by his parents, Alan and Denise Capece; a "younger" sister and best friend, DeeAnn Capece; a brother, Alan Capece; special "sisters and brothers", Erica Streeter, Scott Hudson, and Carrie and Greg Hamilton; an aunt, Jean Famulare; several cousins; and many dear and close friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents and his special friend Hampton.
