Christopher A. Jones, 58, of Clock Rd., passed away on Sunday, July 30, 2006 at Faxton-St. Luke's Healthcare after a long illness. Chris was born on April 3, 1948 in Rome, the son of the late Arthur and Elizabeth Wolff Jones. He was raised and educated locally and graduated from Rome Free Academy. On August 15, 1988 in Taberg, Chris was united in marriage to the former Lucy Kingwater. He was employed with Madison-Cortland ARC and previously worked for Varflex in Rome and Lewis Meats in Taberg. Chris was a former member of the Taberg Volunteer Fire Department and the Point Rock Fish and Game Club. He truly loved the outdoors, whether it was while hunting and fishing or chopping wood. Chris also enjoyed cooking. Christopher is survived by his loving wife of almost 18 years Lucy; three daughters, Kristen, Joann, and Kaitlyn Jones; a son, Christopher Jones, Jr., all at home; aunts and uncles, Grace Wolff and Armando Perez of Florida, Robert Wolff of Rome, and Bette and Joseph Michaniw of Rome; and several cousins.
